New Ecowool Site
June 21, 2011Quality is our focus.
January 6, 2010Unfortunately the financial turmoil going on in the world has inflated the exchange rate of the NZ dollar these past few months.
The effect of this is to make the cost of NZ-made goods higher for overseas customers. We have not increased our prices but the change in the exchange rate will have made our products more expensive when converted to overseas currencies.
This is inconvenient for us all but we believe that the excellent quality of our goods ensures that they still represent great value for money.

Thanks for a record month!
February 16, 2009Well, it seems that many of you have been heeding the advice of our previous entry to take advantage of the low New Zealand dollar rate. Despite these recessionary times we have enjoyed our best ever November and December sales!
Ecowool only sells quality, premium products. Is seems therefore that the old adage of there always being a market for quality, whatever the economic conditions, has some truth. Of course the fact that this quality is currently available at very competitive prices to overseas customers makes it doubly attractive.
Lower New Zealand Dollar means cheaper prices
October 21, 2008The turmoil taking place in the world financial markets is creating a positive effect for ecowool.com, as the New Zealand dollar has taken a bit of a nosedive. That makes buying products from New Zealand less expensive, and great value for our overseas customers, especially those in the USA.
The NZ dollar has fallen about 25% against the US dollar in the past year, which means our products now cost our US based customers 25% less than a year ago.
Against the UK pound the NZ dollar has dropped about 12% over the past year, and about 20% against the Euro.
So now’s a great time to get into some early Christmas shopping by selecting some eco-friendly, natural gifts from our website.
